Hiring a private chef in New Jersey should feel like the easiest part of your event, not the hardest. At Modern Classical Chefs, chef Dan Ninerell brings the restaurant experience into your home: a custom menu, the cooking, the plating, and a spotless kitchen when the night is over. All you do is sit down and enjoy it.
Whether it’s an intimate dinner for two, a dinner party for friends, or ongoing personal chef service in New Jersey with a week of meals made ahead, you get food built around your tastes, your dietary needs, and the occasion, cooked fresh and dropped off ready to eat.
Based in South Jersey, cooking across Camden County, the Shore down to Cape May, Princeton, and greater Philadelphia.

What a private chef does
- Classic for Two ($425, food included). A multi-course dinner for two, start to finish. The one tier where the groceries are already built into the price. Perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, or a night that deserves more than a reservation.
- Classic Tailored ($135 per guest, $510 minimum). A custom multi-course menu for your dinner party, cooked and served in your home. Groceries billed separately at cost, so you only ever pay for the food that’s actually on your table. Parties over eight add a server, starting at $325.
- Classic Meals ($410+ per week). Weekly meal prep for busy households: chef-quality meals portioned and ready in your fridge, planned around your goals and dietary needs.
